My bedroom just got mid-century(er). I had been using two white dressers I’d had since childhood and hadn’t upgraded yet. I just upgraded to the mid-century bed from West Elm and was in need of a dresser that matched better. Enter @waldomidcentury.
Seriously, just abandon reading this post and go follow them. They are located in Wisconsin and post amazing mid-century finds on Instagram and Craigslist. The pieces are basically sold first come first serve. Comment and it’s yours. Anyway, a couple weeks ago I was browsing Instagram and came across this post [insert 25 heart eye emoji]. They came to Chicago over the weekend and brought it to my door. It’s perfect. The style. The quality. I can’t even.
I was worried how my mid-century style and the natural wood look would adapt to my dark teal walls, but I have to say, I’m really loving it!
Here are some more photos of this gorgeous dresser + the other half of the room so you can see how it all comes together. Disclosure: I’m doing a bit of experimenting with rugs.
