Choosing a Bedroom Paint Color

I decided to repaint my bedroom. It’s currently Pebble Beach with a Temptation accent wall.

I liked the colors for a while, but ultimately decided I wanted to bring more color into the room. Pebble Beach is the most prominent color in my condo, so I figured the bedroom was a good place to experiment with a rich, bright color. I saw some Dark Harbor room on Pinterest and fell in love with the color.

I started with two colors…

…and I couldn’t decide. I felt Dark Harbor was too dark and Teal Ocean was too light. With natural light, Dark Harbor was fine, but, as it’s a bedroom, it’s frequently dark with only a ceiling light. So, I did the logical thing and brought in two more colors: Naples Blue and Galapagos Turquoise.

Of course, I still can’t pick!

Here are all four options with natural light (daylight from large window)

Here are all four options at night (no daylight, overhead ceiling light). The picture isn’t as pretty, but you get a good idea of how dark the colors are at night.

Which should I choose?

Spoiler alert! I chose Galapagos Turquoise and here’s what the room looks like now:
